Don't pour kitchen grease or oil down the drain.Protect your home's drains and the environment by recycling grease. Scrape any remaining food into your organic’s garbage can. Let the grease cool, pour it into a sealable container or bottle, and throw it away with your regular trash. If you have large amounts of oil, you can take it to a drop-off location or pour into a less than 5-gallon container and leave it next to your organics can for pickup!
