Notice is hereby given that the City of Monte Sereno is accepting applications from residents wishing to serve on the City’s Youth Commission.
The Commission will consist of fifteen (15) members appointed by the City Council, each of whom shall serve a term of one (1) year. Applications will be reviewed, and Commissioners shall be appointed at the June 7, 2022, City Council meeting for a term ending May 31, 2023.
All members of the Youth Commission shall be Monte Sereno residents and at the time of appointment, enrolled in grades eight through twelve, or entering grades eight through twelve in the next school year. Youth Commission meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. These meetings will be held via Zoom until further notice.
Persons interested in serving on the Youth Commission should apply to the City Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on May 31, 2022.
