NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLACE:                     City Council Chambers, City Hall

18041 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road, Monte Sereno, California

 

The City Council is conducting a public meeting to discuss potential density ranges for a change to the City’s General Plan and zoning ordinance to allow for multi-family uses at 18840 Saratoga Los Gatos Road (La Hacienda).  At the meeting the City Council will take public testimony and provide direction to staff as to the density ranges of housing for the City to consider. 

 

Prior to the City Council taking any action to change the General Plan and zoning ordinance, the City must first consider the potential environmental impacts.  Once the City Council provides direction as to the density ranges to study, the environmental review process will begin.  It is anticipated that the environmental review process will take approximately six months to complete.  Impacts such as traffic will be studied as part of this process.  Once the review process is complete, the City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider the findings of the environmental determination and will consider the draft General Plan amendment and zoning ordinance. 

 

 

WARNING NOTICE:

If you challenge the above application in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this Notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Monte Sereno (18041 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road, Monte Sereno) at, or prior to the close of hearing.   Any decision by the City Council is a final decision.  Any challenge in court must be commenced within 90 days of the decision as required by the California Code of Civil Procedure.
